CyberRatings.org Announces Test Results for Cloud Service Provider Native Firewalls

CyberRatings.org announced results of a "Mini-Test" of cloud service provider native firewalls from AWS, Azure, and GCP using Keysight CyPerf v5.0, reporting security effectiveness ranging from 0.38% to 50.57% against 522 known medium-or-higher CVE exploits relevant to cloud workloads (no evasions used). The group cautions that many exploits were missed and advises enterprises to consider proven third-party firewalls, with a forthcoming Phase 2 to add more exploits, evasions, malware, and comparisons to leading third-party solutions.
