Malaysian authorities reported a significant cyberattack on Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) beginning March 23 that knocked down Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) digital systems for more than 10 hours, forcing staff to revert to manual operations such as updating flight information on whiteboards. Officials say a $10 million ransom demand was rejected; no ransomware group has claimed responsibility and the government has not disclosed technical details or evidence of data exfiltration.
