Stalkerware App With Security Bug Discovered on Hotel Systems

pcTattletale, a stalkerware app that can remotely view Android and Windows devices and take frequent screenshots, was found in Wyndham hotel check-in systems; captured screenshots reportedly included guest/customer information and, due to a security bug, were made accessible on the Internet. The discovery was made by a researcher who attempted to notify the vendor and recommended that potential victims run antivirus or anti-malware scans.
