Microsoft Expands Access to Windows Recall AI Feature

Microsoft expanded the AI-powered Windows Recall feature to Copilot+ PCs using AMD and Intel chipsets and launched it in Europe in a limited Windows Insiders preview; Recall records user activity to the cloud and enables users to return to snapshots of past activity. Due to privacy and security concerns, Microsoft implemented protections (data encryption, Recall off by default, Windows Hello biometric requirement during recording), added Recall to its bug bounty program, and delayed the wider rollout to address potential risks.
