Intel Maps New vPro Chips to MITRE's ATT&CK Framework

Intel announced its new Core Ultra 2 vPro chips, highlighting hardware-based security and an isolated security tile, and detailed a year-long collaboration with Microsoft and CrowdStrike to map vPro hardware features against the MITRE ATT&CK framework. The project mapped roughly 30 hardware-enabled features to about 150 ATT&CK techniques to help IT teams understand defensive coverage, guide procurement and upgrades, and enable future endpoint discovery and security scoring capabilities.
