Fortinet Assists INTERPOL in Disrupting Cybercrime Networks through Operation Serengeti 2.0

Fortinet reports its role as a private-sector intelligence partner in INTERPOL’s Operation Serengeti 2.0, a multinational cybercrime takedown across Africa (June–August 2025) that produced 1,209 arrests, dismantled over 11,000 malicious infrastructures, recovered ~$97.4M, and identified nearly 88,000 victims; the operation targeted ransomware, scams, BEC, cryptocurrency fraud and related organized criminal activity, with Fortinet contributing IOCs, C2 infrastructure data, forensic insights, and investigator training.
