Fortinet and the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative: Celebrating Two Years of Progress

This document describes Fortinet’s participation in public‑private partnerships—especially CISA’s Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC)—to strengthen national cyber resilience, highlighting three priorities: defending against APT operations, raising the cybersecurity baseline (including election security, ransomware impact reduction, OSS security in OT/ICS, and secure‑by‑design practices), and anticipating risks from emerging technologies such as AI. It emphasizes Fortinet’s contributions, including regular threat intelligence reports to JCDC, collaboration on a 2024 AI-focused tabletop that informed the 2025 JCDC AI Cybersecurity Collaboration Playbook, and support for CISA’s Secure by Design Pledge.
