Mozilla Says It’s Finally Done With Two-Faced Onerep

Mozilla announced it will end its partnership with Onerep and discontinue the paid Monitor Plus service, completing a wind-down by December 17, 2025 with prorated refunds to subscribers. The move follows reporting that Onerep’s founder maintained ownership in data broker operations like Nuwber, conflicting with Mozilla’s vendor standards, while Mozilla will continue offering its free Monitor breach alerts and focus on integrating more privacy and security features (including VPN) directly into Firefox.
