Web Hacking Service ‘Araneida’ Tied to Turkish IT Firm

Silent Push and KrebsOnSecurity report that a cracked version of Acunetix is being resold as a cloud-based scanner called “Araneida,” bundled with proxy services and used by cybercriminal customers to perform large-scale scanning, harvest credentials and payment card data, and accelerate website takeovers; the service is actively advertised on cybercrime forums and Telegram, tied to multiple infrastructure indicators (domains, HTML titles, legacy SSL certs), and has been linked contextually to criminal groups and nation-state actors in observed campaigns.
