Iran-Backed Hackers Claim Wiper Attack on Medtech Firm Stryker

A hacktivist group called Handala, assessed as linked to Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security, claims to have executed a mass data-wiping attack against medical device manufacturer Stryker, allegedly erasing data from hundreds of thousands of systems and remotely wiping employee devices (potentially via Microsoft Intune). The outage has forced office closures, disrupted Stryker services used by hospitals (including LifeNet), and raised supply-chain and patient-care concerns as healthcare providers evaluate impacts.
