Read This Before You Buy That TV Streaming Stick

Bitsight research uncovered a large ad-fraud operation using off-brand H96 Android TV boxes that report as mobile phones and are pushed scripts to silently browse AI-generated sites and click ads; the activity, attributed to Zhejiang Fengwo IoT Technology (Fengwo Group), also involves these devices acting as residential proxies. Roughly 38,000 boxes were observed contacting an expired coordination domain, with estimated ad-fraud revenue near $50,000/day, and the operation employs automated vision/reasoning and a Blockly-based orchestration platform to let low-skilled operators run fraud routines.
