ID Theft Service Resold Access to USInfoSearch Data

KrebsOnSecurity investigated a criminal service (USiSLookups) operating on Telegram that uses stolen USinfoSearch credentials to sell Social Security numbers and full background reports (dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers, driver’s license info, relatives, employers) for small fees; the service caters to SIM swappers and integrates via an API, and the broader operation also sells hacked law-enforcement emails and exploits fraudulent Emergency Data Requests and Kodex account abuse to rapidly obtain customer records from providers.
