TeamViewer Trust Center statement

TeamViewer disclosed irregularities in its internal corporate IT environment (June 26, 2024) with no evidence of impact to product systems or customer data, while H-ISAC warned of active threats exploiting TeamViewer; in response, ThreatLocker recommends disabling or restricting TeamViewer where not necessary, applying scheduled use and ringfencing to limit file system access, and enabling detection/response controls during ongoing investigations.
