Hackers target Taliban databases

Unidentified hackers have published hundreds of documents reportedly taken from 21 Taliban ministries and government agencies (including finance, justice, foreign affairs, information and culture, telecommunications, mining, the Supreme Court, and the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice) on a site called "Talibleaks." Taliban officials confirm documents from multiple departments were leaked but deny a central database compromise, suggesting the files may have been obtained from individual, poorly secured computers.
