Ransomwared NHS software supplier nabs £3M discount from ICO for good behavior

The Information Commissioner's Office fined Advanced Computer Software £3.07 million after a ransomware attack on a subsidiary disrupted NHS care; the company accepted the decision, cooperated with the NCSC, NCA and the NHS, and implemented mitigation steps which led to a reduced penalty from an earlier provisional £6.09 million.
