Dermatology Clinics Affected by Practice Management Company Data Breach

In May 2025 DermCare Management, a Florida-based dermatology support company, reported a network server hacking incident and notified HHS OCR; at least ten of its ~60 affiliated practices across multiple states have confirmed patient data was involved and have issued breach notifications, suggesting dermatology providers may be specifically targeted by one or more threat actors.
