Telus Digital confirms breach after ShinyHunters claims 1 petabyte data theft

Telus Digital, the business process outsourcing arm of Telus, confirmed a multi-month security incident after threat actors claimed to have stolen nearly 1 PB of data. ShinyHunters told reporters they accessed Telus using Google Cloud credentials obtained from the Salesloft/Drift breach; as of publication Telus Digital had not appeared on the actors' leak site.
