On September 6, the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Center disclosed a July incident in which the Meow Leaks group accessed and reportedly exfiltrated roughly 40 GB of patient and employee PHI/PII from its New Jersey and New York locations; attackers demanded $15,000 and have listed the data for sale on the dark web. PMRC notified law enforcement and is offering credit monitoring and identity-protection services to affected individuals.
