Personal information of 16,000 individuals leaked from Seoul National University Hospital

Seoul National University Hospital disclosed that a clerical error on Saturday—an incorrect email address entered by a staff member—resulted in partial patient records for roughly 16,000 individuals being sent to an unintended recipient. The email contained sensitive personal and medical information including mothers' and newborns' names, patient identification numbers, dates of birth, heights and weights, obstetric history, and newborn medical test results.
