TH: Hacker steals personal data of 350,000 engineers

The Bangkok Post reports that the Council of Engineers Thailand suffered a database breach during a server transfer that led to 680,000 accesses over about 10 hours and the theft of personal data belonging to approximately 350,000 members (names, addresses, phone numbers, licence levels and other personal details); there is no public confirmation of any ransom demand and details about detection and attacker contact remain unclear.
