Operation Synergia III (18 July 2025 – 31 January 2026) was an INTERPOL-coordinated multinational operation that disrupted global cybercrime infrastructure — taking down over 45,000 malicious IP addresses and servers, effecting 94 arrests (with 110 under investigation), and seizing 212 electronic devices and servers — targeting phishing, malware, ransomware and a wide range of fraud schemes; notable national cases include discovery of 33,000+ phishing sites in Macau, romance/social-engineering scams in Togo, and large fraud rings in Bangladesh.
