Pediatric Urology Associates was allegedly locked and hacked. What are they doing about it?

DataBreaches reports that the dAn0n Hacker Group claims to have infiltrated Pediatric Urology Associates (acquired by NYU Langone) since January 2023, deployed ransomware on March 23, 2024, and leaked 16.76 GB of internal documents and 662 MB of patient PHI (including surgical slips and sensitive photos), while asserting a larger 740 GB exfiltration; although the leaks are publicly accessible and reviewed, neither PUA nor NYU Langone has confirmed the breach or issued required notifications.
