A ransomware attack on Autism Services of Saskatoon discovered on March 20, 2025 rendered systems inaccessible and likely led to exfiltration of personal data for 2,168 people, including names, dates of birth, addresses, social insurance numbers, health card numbers, medical information and credit card details; the organization isolated affected systems, notified victims, improved IT security, and the Saskatchewan Information and Privacy Commissioner recommended reminding affected individuals to monitor credit reports and scores.
