Ukrainian cyber police in Dnipropetrovsk region disrupted a 25-year-old self-taught hacker from Kamianske who, since early 2024, used SQL injection and brute-force to breach web resources (including dating sites), harvest over 10,000 users’ email credentials, access victims’ crypto wallets, and sell databases on the darknet; authorities seized equipment, filed criminal charges, imposed detention with bail, and are investigating possible ties to enemy agents and the full scope of victims and damages.
