A-list directors, actors and celebrities exposed in Tribeca film festival data leak

Researcher Jeremiah Fowler discovered multiple publicly accessible, unprotected databases associated with the Tribeca Film Festival—"development" (203,370 records), "staging" (224,999), and "production" (238,000)—totaling 666,369 exposed records (2019–2026). Exposed materials include images, press kits, marketing and confidential documents, and a production backup with 295,916 records containing folders for users, film contacts, contacts and sensitive fields such as email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, and hashed passwords, posing significant privacy and operational risks.
