The DOJ announced that Nathan Austad ("Snoopy") was sentenced to 18 months for leading a credential-stuffing campaign that compromised ~60,000 accounts on a fantasy betting site, stole about $600,000 by adding attacker payment methods and cashing out, sold access to victim accounts through online "shops," controlled cryptocurrency proceeds (~$465,000), and was ordered to forfeit $463,684.48 and pay $1,327,061 in restitution.
