Troutman Pepper Locke Silent as Threat Actors Leak Client Data, Tens of Thousands of SSNs

Silent Ransom Group (SRG) has published stolen data from a August 7, 2026 remote attack on law firm Troutman Pepper Locke (TPL); the report also recounts an earlier April 2025 physical intrusion (4.8 GB taken) and a prior 2023 Black Basta incident. The 2026 leak includes privileged corporate files and personal data (names, addresses, and full SSNs in ~64,000 records), SRG claims negotiation/refusal history and threatens further attacks against non-paying firms, and TPL has not publicly confirmed or detailed the recent incident.
