EuroFins cancer screening hack far bigger than thought, agency says

DutchNews.nl reports that Bevolkingsonderzoek Nederland disclosed a far larger data theft at a national cervical cancer screening programme laboratory than first stated, with hackers potentially accessing personal and medical details of up to 941,000 women since 2017 (revised from 485,000 to at least 715,000); as the full extent cannot be ruled out, all participants since 2017 will be notified.
