Threat Score
A service provider (C&M Software) that connects Brazil’s Central Bank to local banks was compromised after an employee allegedly sold his login credentials for roughly $2,700, allowing attackers to steal 800 million BRL (~$140M) from six connected institutions; the attackers converted an estimated $30–40M of the stolen funds into BTC, ETH and USDT and laundered proceeds through regional exchanges and OTC platforms.
