Cyber OpSec Fail: Beast Gang Exposes Ransomware Server

An open server hosted by a German cloud provider was found to contain the full toolset of the Beast ransomware group, exposing reconnaissance, network mapping, credential theft, lateral movement, persistence and exfiltration tools. Threat-intelligence firm Team Cymru highlighted that the toolkit includes commonly abused legitimate services (AnyDesk, Mega) and that the revealed TTPs overlap with those used by other ransomware gangs, increasing the risk of reuse or adaptation by other actors.
