Dangerous hacker responsible for more than 40 cyberattacks on strategic organizations arrested (1)

The Spanish National Police and Civil Guard arrested an individual in Calpe, Alicante, accused of a series of cyberattacks during 2024 targeting Spanish public institutions, universities and international organisations (including NATO, the US Army, UN bodies and national defence agencies). The suspect, using multiple pseudonyms such as “natohub”/“lock4j,” allegedly accessed and exfiltrated databases, defaced sites, published or sold stolen data on dark‑web forums, and maintained numerous cryptocurrency accounts; law enforcement seized digital devices and crypto assets and investigations remain ongoing.
