Suno Data Breach had a breach in 2025. Why is it first being known now?

Suno suffered a data breach in November 2025 disclosed publicly in July the following year; the leaked data reportedly contains over 55 million unique email addresses, some phone numbers, and tens of thousands of Stripe purchase records with names, addresses, purchase amounts and partial credit card data (card type, expiry, last four digits). Suno stated it does not have access to customers' full credit card numbers stored in Stripe.
