Hackers steal and leak sensitive LAPD police documents

Cybercriminals reportedly exfiltrated and leaked a large volume of Los Angeles Police Department internal documents — including officer personnel files, internal affairs investigations, and unredacted discovery containing personal data — which an extortion group known as "World Leaks" posted (and later deleted) on its site; Distributed Denial of Secrets subsequently hosted the data, according to media reporting.
