Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) disclosed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange that it detected a ransomware attack on parts of its IT infrastructure on August 6, 2025; the company activated internal cybersecurity protocols, contained the incident, and reported no compromise of critical systems or sensitive data.
