NL: Dutch healthcare software vendor goes dark after ransomware attack

A ransomware attack knocked the Dutch healthcare software vendor ChipSoft offline on April 7, disrupting public-facing services; Z-CERT confirmed the ransomware element but the responsible threat actor is unknown. ChipSoft provides patient record software to around 80% of hospitals in the Netherlands, though most hospitals reportedly still have access to patient portals.
