Zalkin Law Firm was breached by the BlackCat ransomware/extortion group, which claims to have exfiltrated roughly 415.63 GB of data containing records, notes, evidence, depositions, and personal information for 523 clients, including sensitive sexual abuse details. Attackers allegedly contacted victims directly when the firm did not pay demands; the breach spawned a class-action lawsuit (Deats v.
