Lab-1 reports that throughout Q1–Q2 2026 many RaaS and data-extortion groups (e.g., FulcrumSec, Settra, ShinyHunters, Sentap, The Gentlemen, Titan, Leak Bazaar) have moved from bulk data dumps to deliberate post-exfiltration analysis, indexing and pricing of stolen data. This capability—implemented via human review, AI/ML/LLM tools and scripted extraction—removes the "weaponization tax", enables tranching and targeted sales, and elevates downstream risks through both technical (credentials, API keys) and non-technical (invoices, org charts) pivots, materially increasing regulatory, reputational and operational impacts on victims.
