Defendant Sentenced To Prison For Hacking Betting Website

The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced that Kamerin Stokes ("TheMFNPlug") was sentenced to 30 months for participating in a credential-stuffing scheme that compromised approximately 60,000 accounts on a fantasy sports/betting website, sold access to those accounts via an online "Shop," and led to over $125,000 in seized account value and more than $1.3 million in restitution; after pleading guilty he reopened his Shop, advertised continued fraud, and was rearrested for violating pretrial release.
