Uvalde CISD to close most of next week due to ransomware issue

Uvalde Consolidated ISD detected ransomware on district servers, leading to the temporary closure of schools (Sept. 15–18) and disruptions to essential safety-related services such as phones, thermostats, camera monitoring, and visitor management. No threat actor has publicly claimed responsibility and no data theft has been reported.
