Nitrogen’s ransomware can’t be decrypted — even by Nitrogen

Reports indicate the Nitrogen ransomware targeting VMware ESXi contains a critical coding error that overwrites part of the public key, encrypting files with an unrecoverable key and making decryption impossible—even by the operators—rendering ransom payment futile; outreach to the group received no response.
