Microsoft disclosed that Russian government–linked hackers (Midnight Blizzard) breached its corporate network in November, stealing emails from executives and staff in its cybersecurity and legal teams. The intrusion was detected on Jan. 12; Microsoft began notifying affected employees and filed a disclosure with the SEC in line with new reporting requirements.
