UK CISO’s are cowing to ransomware demands more than you think, here’s why they shouldn’t pay up

New research reported by Emma Woollacott cites Trellix findings that four in ten UK CISOs faced ransomware attacks in the past five years and all affected organizations chose to pay, with about a third paying between $5 million and $15 million and a minimum ransom across UK businesses of around $250,000.
