Arctic Wolf Releases Open Source Log4j Detection Script

Arctic Wolf has released a Log4Shell Deep Scan tool on GitHub to detect CVE-2021-44228 and CVE-2021-45046 in nested JAR/WAR/EAR files and urges organizations to run targeted host-level scans; the post warns of widespread scanning and active exploitation delivering crypto-miners and ransomware, notes nation-state and other actors are exploiting the vulnerability, and recommends prioritized remediation and continuous vigilance.
