Targeting and Compromise of French Entities Using the Turla Intrusion Set (13 juillet 2026)

The French Cyber Crisis Coordination Centre (C4) reports that the Turla intrusion set, attributed to the 16th Centre of the Russian FSB, has targeted and compromised French ministries and strategic entities for espionage since at least 2004; these long-running, sophisticated campaigns continue in the context of Russia’s 2022 war of aggression and have prompted formal attribution statements by French and EU authorities on 13 July 2026.
