1 000 and 4 000 days of Russia’s war against Ukraine

This report analyzes how Russia has waged a multi-domain campaign since 2014—culminating in the 2022 invasion—by weaponizing propaganda, censorship, disinformation and cyber operations. It describes three themes: (1) preparing the ground through delegitimization and historical revisionism, (2) dominating the information space via censorship and media control, and (3) treating manipulation and disinformation (including identity hijacking and impersonation) as weapons to confuse global audiences and hide atrocities.
