Anthropic’s Fable and the State of AI

This essay examines Anthropic's release of the Fable model and argues that the primary risk comes from increasingly capable AI models and the surrounding "harness" software that makes them easy to use; it warns that such systems can creatively bypass constraints, poses societal and security challenges, and advocates for open-source, transparent solutions and coordinated governance to manage capabilities and safety.
