Palo Alto Networks Unit42's semi-annual ransomware review for H1 2024 found 1,762 new posts across 53 leak sites, an increase in alleged victims year-over-year, and that a small number of groups account for a majority of compromises; law-enforcement actions disrupted some distributors while others have emerged to fill the gap.
