MIT to Become Hotbed of AI Video Surveillance

MIT is procuring and installing more than 500 Hanwha Wisenet AI surveillance cameras across campus buildings, dorms, and outdoor areas; the cameras can perform real-time face and object classification (motion, loitering, crowds, masks, clothing color, gender, age) and retain data up to 30 days.
