Russian Language Cybercriminal Forums – Analyzing The Most Active And Renowned Communities.

An OSINT study of Russian-language cybercriminal forums maps how major boards (XSS, Exploit, LolzTeam, WWH-Club, Probiv, RuTor) operate, who they attract, and what is traded (hacking, carding, fraud, hosting, and financial services), while contrasting Telegram’s reach with forums’ strengths in arbitration, escrow, and reputation. Using quantitative snapshots of activity and new commercial threads, plus case examples like Raccoon Stealer’s forum bans and reinstatement, it shows that a relatively small cadre of skilled actors drives high-impact operations, whereas larger communities skew toward low-level fraud, and that common service providers (bulletproof hosting, crypto exchangers) interlink the ecosystem.
