Texas Govt Data Breach Exposes Over 3 Million Driver's Licenses

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department disclosed a major third-party vendor data breach affecting its online licensing portal, exposing PII for more than three million individuals — including driver’s license numbers, full names, dates of birth, addresses, license histories, and partial financial data — and has initiated notifications, forensic investigations, coordination with state authorities, and offered credit monitoring to impacted residents.
